I’m surprised to see how many readers grisgam disappointed with this book since I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sewanee got two thousand dollars a year, same for the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
I like the book The Testament much better and would recommend Testament over Grisuam. Ray immediately thinks the money is “dirty” because his father could not possibly have made so much money in his career. The Judge dies too soon, and in doing so leaves behind a shocking secret known only to Ray. I missed Grisham’s humor and colorful descriptions of southern towns.
